Encyclia hanburyi / Live bare-root orchid

Native to Mexico and Guatemala these will have showy green and burgundy blooms with hints of lavender. It has clustered pseudobulbs that carry 1–2 leaves, and flowers from late winter to early summer on inflorescences that can grow up to 3' to 4' long. The flowers are 2" (5 cm) in size and have distinct lips with intricate patterns and a beautiful fragrance.

Med to bright indirect light and water every 2-4 days. Keep the medium very slightly damp but not soaking wet.

As these are live plants, please open your order quickly after receiving it. We suggest an anti-fungal treatment after unpacking your plants, such as Physan or other over-the-counter treatments. Please adhere to all manufacturer guidelines and dosages. Follow that with 1-2 days of drying before the first watering.
