The toothbrush orchid is native to SE Asia and produces its inflorescence horizontally on leafless canes, thus the name as it looks like a toothbrush. It can be grown potted or mounted. They are deciduous so do not be shocked as they begin to lose leaves on old canes during the winter.

Med to bright indirect light and water every 3-5 days during the growing season and reduce to once a week during the winter, based on your environment's humidity. Allow them to dry out before watering again.

As these are live plants, please open your order quickly after receiving it. We suggest an antifungal treatment after unpacking your plants, such as Physan, Zeritol HC, or other over-the-counter treatments, please adhere to all manufacturer guidelines. Follow that with 1-2 days of drying before the first watering.
