An amazing and "unique", or in Latin unicum, miniature Dendrobium species hailing from Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand. If you've met me or shopped with me, you know I love funky, and yes these are a funky monkey. The flowers are spectacular and typically bloom in late spring or early summer.
They are deciduous and many are leafless now. This is natural, do not be worried. Do not cut or remove old canes, as these work as storage for water and nutrients.
Grow these similar to a soft cane dendrobium. They like a winter rest from water and fertilizer, and resume when you see new growth appearing.
Currently in 2" pots. They love to be mounted, which is our preferred growing method with these in our personal collection.
While we take great care in our packaging and shipping plants sometimes do get damaged in shipping. We do our best to protect all plants but cannot guarantee that no damage will occur. As these are live plants, please open your order quickly after receiving it. We suggest an anti-fungal treatment after unpacking your plants, such as Physan or other over-the-counter treatments. Please adhere to all manufacturer guidelines and dosages. Follow that with 1-2 days of drying before the first watering.
