Brassocattleya Morning Glory × Cattleya rex is an extraordinary, highly anticipated novelty cross that merges the starry, free-flowering durability of Brassavola breeding with the aristocratic, high-contrast lip architecture of Peru’s legendary "King of the Cattleyas."

This hybrid bridges two iconic lines of Cattleya alliance royalty:

• The Pod Parent (Bc. Morning Glory): A legendary primary hybrid (Brassavola nodosa × Cattleya purpurata) celebrated for its fast-growing habit, narrow foliage, starry flower shape, and powerful, sweet night-time fragrance.

• The Pollen Parent (Cattleya rex): One of the most magnificent species in the genus, famous for its luminous ivory-cream petals paired with a velvety, crimson-magenta lip heavily veined with radiating gold and yellow throat stripes.

Ready to be potted into a 4-5" pot.

Treat it like a traditional Cattleya. Bright filtered light and allow for a full dry in between watering.
