Cattleya Calummata is an absolute classic primary hybrid (Cattleya aclandiae × Cattleya intermedia) that holds an honored spot in Cattleya breeding history. Regarded as one of the very first artificial Cattleya crosses ever registered (dating back to 1883), this timeless pairing delivers high-contrast spotting, a dwarf growth habit, and thick, waxy blooms.

The starry, heavy-substanced flowers feature icy blush-pink to pale lavender sepals and petals heavily decorated with crisp, dark magenta-burgundy spots and freckles. Standing out in sharp, electric contrast, the broad, shovel-shaped lip opens in a glowing, solid electric-violet shade that instantly catches the eye.
