C. lueddemanniana v. coerulea 'Caracas x Venosa' | Bareroot new import

Cattleya lueddemanniana var. coerulea is the ethereal, "blue" counterpart to this legendary Venezuelan species, highly sought after by orchid connoisseurs for its cool, aristocratic color palette and exceptional form. While standard forms carry warm rose-pink tones, the coerulea variety replaces them with delicate, ice-blue and silvery-lavender hues, making it a rare and serene masterpiece for greenhouse or windowsill benches.

The large, flat, and wonderfully fragrant blooms feature broad, overlapping petals in a pristine, pale steel-blue. The focal point is the magnificent, open lip, which showcases a deeply saturated slate-blue or violet midlobe. This rich blue color is beautifully contrasted by pale cream-to-yellow side lobes and intricate, dark violet-indigo veining radiating from the throat.

Bareroot and should be mounted or potted right away. Give reduced light until rooted out.
