Cattleya purpurata f. flamea × Cattleya sincorana is an exciting, high-potential primary hybrid that pairs the majestic scale and dramatic color saturation of Cattleya purpurata with the ultra-dwarf growth habit and oversized blooms of Cattleya sincorana.

This cross aims to create compact to semi-dwarf plants that produce remarkably large flowers relative to their plant size. The thick-textured blooms inherit the striking flamea trait, featuring icy white to soft blush-lavender petals heavily flushed with fiery, feather-like magenta-purple flaring along the petal tips. Dominating the flower is an expansive, funnel-shaped lip in deep, velvety crimson-violet with a glowing yellow-veined throat.
