Cattleya Walter August (4N) × Cattleya Peckaviensis is a powerhouse, heavy-textured novelty hybrid designed for collectors who appreciate intense color saturation, high-contrast lip markings, and elite tetraploid substance. By crossing a confirmed 4N selection with a classic, heavily-spotted primary-style hybrid, this population should yield thick, glossy blooms built to last.

This pairing unites two remarkable Cattleya lineages:

• The Pod Parent (Cattleya Walter August 4N): A stunning 4N tetraploid hybrid celebrated for passing along exceptionally thick, cardboard-like floral substance, broad overlapping petals, and brilliant sunset-to-magenta coloration that holds up well under intense light.

• The Pollen Parent (Cattleya Peckaviensis): An iconic cross between C. aclandiae and C. schilleriana. It contributes dwarf growth habits, heavy dark chocolate-burgundy spotting, and an expansive, bright magenta-violet lip with strong, ruffled lip architecture.
