Rhyncholaeliocattleya (Rlc.) Golden Hope is a breathtaking yellow art-shade Cattleya hybrid celebrated for its radiant coloration, heavy floral substance, and warm presence. Bred for classic exhibition form, this cross produces striking, high-impact blooms that immediately brighten any collection.

The flowers feature broad, smooth petals and sepals in a bright butter-yellow to golden-amber. Stealing center stage is an expansive, beautifully ruffled lip painted in a deep, velvety ruby-crimson, creating a dramatic contrast against the luminous golden petals. On warm, sunny mornings, the waxy blooms release a rich, sweet floral perfume.

Plant & Bloom Profile

• Growth Habit & Size: A sturdy, medium-sized sympodial Cattleya with upright pseudobulbs and thick, leathery leaves. Mature plants reach a manageable height of 12 to 16 inches, making them well-suited for bench space while supporting large, eye-catching blooms.

• Bloom Season & Habit: Primarily flowers in spring through early summer as new pseudobulbs mature, holding its long-lasting blossoms in pristine condition for 3 to 5 weeks.

• Fragrance: Intensely aromatic, releasing a sweet, classic Cattleya fragrance during bright morning hours.
