Rhyncholaeliocattleya (Rlc.) Siam Magic × Rhyncholaeliocattleya (Rlc.) Tugnoi Orange is an exciting, high-potential art-shade hybrid engineered to produce fiery, tropical sunset tones and heavy floral substance on sturdy plants. Combining the broad form and vibrant pigmentation of Rlc. Siam Magic with the compact, intense orange-red influence of Rlc. Tugnoi Orange, this seedling cross promises dynamic color variation and bold visual appeal.

Expect large to medium-sized, waxy flowers ranging in color from bright apricot-orange and warm amber to fiery peach-copper. The broad, gracefully ruffled lip inherits deep ruby-red to sunset-crimson hues, often highlighted by glowing yellow-orange throat veining. On bright, sunny mornings, the thick-textured blooms release a rich, sweet floral perfume.

Plant & Bloom Profile

• Growth Habit & Size: A sturdy, compact-to-medium sympodial Cattleya featuring upright, plump pseudobulbs and thick, leathery foliage. Mature plants should reach a manageable height of 10 to 14 inches, making them an easy fit for bench space while holding flowers proudly above the foliage.

• Bloom Season & Habit: Based on the parents, these should typically flower in spring through summer as new pseudobulbs mature, producing clusters of long-lasting, heavy-substanced blooms that stay fresh for 3 to 5 weeks.

• Fragrance: Both parents are fragrant, and these should carry the same genetics.
